Programme Lead, Life Science

Your mission
LOGEX delivers analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision making in every area of healthcare – from operations and finance, to clinical and patient outcomes – in order to achieve the best possible value. The right people make this all possible. That’s why we’re constantly on the lookout for brilliant minds from a wide range of expertise. Our team of over 450 international experts consists of data scientists, analysts, consultants and experts in technology, healthcare economics, medicine, mathematics and statistics. We work together to support our customers and build long-term, mutually fulfilling partnerships with them. If you enjoy solving complex problems for the greater good and working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture, then LOGEX is the company for you.
The team
The Life Sciences team – currently consisting of 35 people – is growing enormously and is in full swing. The team is primarily responsible for gaining insights into the use and effect of (expensive) drugs. In view of the aging population, a significant increase in drug use and new drugs is expected – and a corresponding increase in costs. In order to keep these rising costs in check, it is essential to have a very clear picture of the exact effect of medicines. The data and dashboards of the Life Sciences team offer a solution for this.
The challenge
As a Programme lead (associate), research, applying advanced analytics and ‘big data’ techniques come natural to you. You have an interest in the field of biopharmaceutical development, clinical trials, outcomes research, and real-world evidence and ‘big data’ challenges in healthcare. You want to have an impact on appropriate drug use within healthcare institutions by executing on drug uptake and epidemiology analysis, standard of care and patient pathway analysis, therapy impact analysis and studies on outcomes and costs, and other research topics of pharmaceutical companies.
In your role as programme lead, you are responsible for multiple clients with the aim to deliver our products, analytics, reports and impact programs. Our clients are hospitals, health care insurers, and pharmaceutical companies. Your role, as part of the team, is to provide our clients with answers to questions, like
- Which patient populations are eligible for the new drugs? How do these impact financial budgets?
- How are drugs used in the real world? What is the uptake of newly introduced medicine?
- What are the real world clinical and patient outcomes? How do they compare to the trial results?
Planning and designing study protocols, analysis set-up, impact programmes, proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective actions, defining the programme’s governance are main part of your job. You are, for example, the go-to person for our clients in supporting their questions and receiving their feedback to improve our NPS, being the linking pin between our analytical models and your clients.
LOGEX ontvangt elke maand data vanuit ziekenhuizen.
