About DGP OWL

Digitale Gesundheitsplattform Ostwestfalen-Lippe (DGP OWL) is an innovative organisation dedicated to bridging healthcare providers in the Paderborn region of Germany. DGP OWL connects five hospitals and numerous doctors through its Digital Health Platform, with the goal of revolutionising healthcare by enhancing document exchange and fostering patient involvement in the treatment progress. The patient portal plays a central role in this vision, a tool that enables patients to actively manage their health records and communicate with healthcare providers. With around 17,000 patients currently using the platform—half of whom have embraced the patient portal—DGP OWL is setting a new standard for healthcare connectivity.
